A Little About Me:

Markella writes fiction for readers of any age to connect with, though she writes about a lot of angsty teenagers. Her work often involves mental health and chronic pain, bisexual disasters, and a bit of portal shenanigans. She writes for readers, especially teens, to know they’re not alone.

 

Markella is a recent graduate with honors from Ringling College of Art & Design with a BFA in Creative Writing, and she is a faculty and communications assistant at Harvard University. A Florida girl who moved to Boston, Markella can be found curled up with a book and mug of hot chocolate (or playing in the snow).
